In Highland Park, Texas, we installed a custom AV home theater in a client’s media room. But we went above and beyond the normal custom installation of a home theater. After all, it’s Highland Park.
First, we started with installing a Just Add Power distributed video system. Overall, the whole project included:
- 18 TVs
- 23 Audio Zones
- HVAC & Lighting Control
- 12 High Definition IP Cameras
We also installed 7 Centrally Controlled Wireless Access Points by Ruckus Wireless, security alarm system with glassbreak detectors, water leak detectors, and complete smoke and carbon monoxide detection.
All of this is controlled by the Control4 home automation and smart home system.
In one room, we mounted a 75 inch TV by two 65 inch TVs over the shuffleboard table.
In the living room, we mounted a 75 inch TV over the fireplace.
There are 2 AV racks containing all of the video sources, amplification, video distribution and the wireless network.
In the media room, we mounted a 75 inch TV with two 43 inch TVs above it.
The control panel includes the lighting keypad, security keypad, and the thermostat.
